My name is Gregg Schiavoni and I live on the East End of Long Island, NY in a town called Sag Harbor. Do you have any ties to the Schiavoni's out here? There are about 110 of us in this small town. Thanks, Gregg
good to hear from a fellow schiavoni! As far as I know, I don't have any family in New York but you never know! I did realize though, when I first went to Italy, that the schiavoni surname is to Italy what the surname Robinson is to the U.S. In Rome there was about 5 pages of Schiavonis in the phone book.

Thanks for writing back and I have noticed the popularity of "Schiavoni" in Italy. It is always interesting to see somebody with your last name when it isn't as popular as "Smith" or "Jones" here in the US. Good to hear fom you and I like the Schiavoni page!
